Cindy Elizabeth

Cindy showed up as a thin, black cat being carried by my six-year-old daughter, who said, "The neighbors are moving and can't take their kitty. Can I have her?"
Cindy moved in and became a part of our lives for the next 22 years. When my daughter realized that she had a middle name, but Cindy did not ... well she promptly christened her "Cindy Elizabeth."
Cindy watched my daughter go from elementary school through college and then move to France. As my daughter says, "Cindy went through it all with me."
Cindy was the ultimate "diva." She was poised in all situations, and gave her loyalty only to my daughter. There will never be another Cindy.
