RainbowBridge.org About....
RainbowBridge.org began as an extension to my other site, Ferret World, which I no longer have.
Though hosted on a site about ferrets, the RainbowBridge pet memorial was open to any animal.
The site became popular enough that I bought the rainbowbridge.org domain on which this site has
been running ever since.
I started this website as a way for people to memorialize their pets on the Internet. Speaking as
a person who loves animals, I know how painful it is to lose a beloved pet. It's hard! Personally,
I find solace by sharing my feelings with others. I hope that others will find some relief by sharing
their pet and their feelings with the rest of the world.
The Rainbow Bridge poem is not my creation nor have I ever claimed it to be. In 1994, I came
across the Rainbow Bridge poem in a pet forum on CompuServ. It was posted anonomously
there and I could find no one to claim it. I have been informed of many potential authors of the poem
over the years but no one could offer any proof.
This site would not be possible without the support of many people. In addidtion, I do not
forget all the wonderful e-mails and letters I have received over the years praising this site.

As for me......
I live in Georgia with my wife and two children. We currently have five cats, a rabbit, and a three-legged dog.
I am the manager of operations and development for IT at a local university. My wife is a nurse. While we both
love our jobs and the people we work with, we would like to relocate....preferably in Maine or Vermont. Resumes
